MONTSAGRE FAMILY SELECTION RECEIVES 2 GOLD MEDALS IN TERRAOLIVO 2017.
Montsagre has been recognized in the International Olive Oil Extra Virgen TerraOlivo 2017 competition with two awards: Montsagre Family Selection - Picual with the qualification "Gran Prestige Gold", and Montsagre Family Selection - Empeltre with the "Prestige Gold" prize. In the contest, which took place in the city of Jerusalem, participated a total of 632 samples from 20 countries, among which Montsagre has excelled and demonstrated the quality of its EVOO’s.

MONTSAGRE PARTICIPATES IN “CEPA ESPAÑA 2017” AS EVOO PREMIUM
Montsagre has been the extra virgin olive oil invited to participate in the awards ceremony of the V Convocation of the National Tasting Contest "Cepa Spain 2017" organized by “La Bodega de Los Reyes”. The event that took place in in the Restaurant “La Pesquera de Casa de Campo”, Madrid had a great participation in which wines were tasted as well as our oils, in a very lively afternoon

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL MONTSAGRE FAMILY SELECTION – PICUAL VARIETY
Montsagre Family Selection – Picual has been just awarded gold medal in Japan (Olive Japan) and New York (NYIOOC) competitions. This recognitions add to awards received at Los Angeles (Los Angeles International EVOO Competition - Silver - 2013) and New York (NYIIOC - Gold - 2015) and they ratify the high quality of our oil.

OLEÏCULTORS DE L’ALGARS: PLATAFORMA FOR QUALITY.
Alanterres and Mas de Flandí entered in a joint venture that to operate and manage its own olive oil mill in Calaceite; Matarrana county, province of Teruel. This association would allow to expand the mill’s current capacity, optimize operations, offer a high quality service and promote the excellence of its extra virgin olive oils.

MONTSAGRE EXPERIENCES FOREST MAINTENANCE AND HERB CONTROL WITH PYRENEES HORSES.
A pilot test of forest maintenance and control of herbaceous vegetation with Pyrenees´ horses is being carried out on the Montsagre estate with the collaboration of the local ranger Miguel Pons. The horses pasturing will reduce the impact of mechanical tools in the conservation of the forest and in the treatment of the soil in the olives groves, and optimize the ecological regime in the management of the land, offering at the same time, a natural environment and abundant pastures to these gently animals.

MONTSAGRE PICUAL BEST OIL (NOT ARBEQUINA) AT FIO 2017 REGIONAL OIL FAIR
MONTSAGRE’s Picual Family Selection Oil - 2016 harvest, obtains first place prize to the Best Oil - without predominance of Arbequina olives, at the 2017 Regional Fair of the Oil (FIO) in Mora La Nueva (Tarragona), in which it competed with extra virgin oils from three counties: Terra Alta, Ribera de Ebro and Priorat. The evaluation was carried out by the Official Olive Oil Tasting Panel of Catalonia. This event reiterates the commitment of its organizers and participants with the quality and promotion of the culture of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the region.
